The VELONA60 9000rpm tachometer is a compact gauge that has a 43 mm high body with a spherical lens. Ideal as a replacement meter or most commonly for custom builds wanting a gauge that has a minimal and low body height. A pulse signal can be picked up from ignition coils or plug cord (HT lead). Or in some cases from the ECU Tacho wire (where applicable). If the vehicle has CDI-ignited, generally the tachometer can be mounted regardless of the engine type or displacement.

Other: On certain models the aid of a pulse rectifier may be required when a pulse signal cannot be obtained. This gauge can be wired to many bike models; however, some makes and models are not compatible, or require special installation. Some models have excessive electrical noise, in such cases see the tachometer optional harness, or pulse rectifier in our gauge accessories pages. Not suitable for 6v models, or bikes converted from 6v to 12v.
