DAYTONA VELONA60, POLISHED - Tachometer, 8000rpm, white LED lit, w/bracket, (C.E.).
The VELONA60 8000rpm tachometer is ideal as a replacement meter or for custom builds requiring a minimal sized gauge that has a low body height. Lens of the dial is a spherical shape; body is stainless steel (POLISHED). The tachometer can be mounted with the supplied bracket, or on one of the separately sold anti vibe mounts. Match with one of the speedometers from the range to have a set.
NOTE: This gauge will also fit into the DAYTONA vintage (CEV style) headlight, fitting bracket to install (into the headlight) are sold separately.
This is a widely used tachometer as the pulse signal can be picked up from the ignition coil, HT lead (TCI and CDI-ignited) and the pulse can be picked up from the ECU where applicable and compatible. Generally, the tachometer can be mounted regardless of the engine type or displacement as long as it is within the PPR range allowable (PPR = Pulse Per Revolutions).

On certain models (older models) the aid of a pulse rectifier may be required when a pulse signal cannot be easily obtained. On models with high electrical noise, the use of the tachometer register harness may help stabilize the needle (only required on models with poor signals).

We also have a range of anti-vibration type stays, & combinations stays that are anti vibe and combine the ALPHA or BETA instrument lights together. Also available are two types of dual fittings stays for the SR400/500 and XS650 models to combine the speedo and Tacho together (found within the SR400 parts page). Although they are for the SR, they are often adapted to other models where suitable to do so. To scroll the LCD screen, see the CNC machined toggle switches or use the rear set and mode buttons on the gauge housing.

Attention: There are circumstances where the tachometer cannot be fitted. Depending on the specification of the bike the Tacho may be incompatible. As an example, models with excessive (electrical) noise in the ignition signal or those with high output coils etc.
