POSH SR400/500 (78~8/88) LONG THROTTLE CABLES, +100mm, VM/FCR/CR - 010131-A1 (010131-AC).
This set of throttle cables by POSH suits the (78 ~ 8 /88) models using the VM32SS & VM34SS type carb (factory VM). They also fit on all SR's using the FCR flat slide carb, CR large body such as the CR38, and also versions of the Mikuni TMR36.
The LONG length throttle cables are suitable for replacement of the factory cables on your custom build that requires longer length cable set. Suitable with wide Tracker bars, Scrambler bar and other Custom bars. The set is sold as a PUSH / PULL SET (PAIR). POSH cables are made in Japan to a high standard, the inner wires are stainless, outer casing is black.
Regarding early model SR500's. In some regions the SR had high and wide bars compared to the later model Japanese models. Therefore, the +100mm length may be similar to early model STD cables (or slightly longer).
NOTE: Cables should be lubed at time of fitment. Fitting should be carried out by a qualified experienced mechanic's as per the factory workshop manual. Cables should always be tested before use on road to ensure the return function is uninhibited and cables have correctly adjusted free play. Have a qualified mechanic fit throttle cables to ensure function is correct.
