POSH SR400(01~17) THROTTLE CABLES, (-100mm), 010123-A1
The POSH SR400 short throttle cables are (-100mm). The measurement is -100mm shorter than standard factory cables. When changing to clip on bars or low bars, the factory cables are too long, that can be problematic and will spoil the look of your conversion or custom build. This set of cables is best used with clip on bars or low-down clubman style bars etc.
Suits the following year models.
- SR400 01~08 (CARBIE MODEL) with factory CV carb
- SR400FI 10~18 (INJECTED MODEL) with factory FI throttle body
They can also be used with some narrow drag bars or on bikes with dropped front suspension (lowered). The set is sold as a PUSH / PULL SET (PAIR = 2 x cables). POSH cables are made in Japan to a high standard, the inner wires are stainless, outer casing is black. Correct fittings are assembled for an easy change over.
NOTE: Cables should be lubed at time of fitment. Fitting should be carried out by a qualified experienced mechanic's as per the factory workshop manual. Cables should always be tested before use on road to ensure the return function is uninhibited and cables have correctly adjusted free play. If unsure of the procedure, use your workshop manual or have a professional licensed mechanic do the work for you.
