SR400/SR500 "78~08" and SR400FI "10-21" EXHAUST PIPE "DAMPER SET", G4-00110-01
When fitting one of our stainless-steel header pipes, or replacing the original header pipe on a 1978–2008 Yamaha SR400/500, this genuine damper is a direct replacement or optional addition for any SR pipe we offer that requires one. It includes a new stainless-steel bolt and nut for convenient installation.
The damper carrier bracket on our stainless-steel pipes, mounted beneath the SR header pipe, matches the dimensions and position of the original bracket. This damper therefore fits both our aftermarket pipes (carb and FI) and genuine carbie model pipes designed to use the original damper.

Replaces Bolt - #95827-08045 & #97027-08045.
Replaces Nut - #95607-08200 & #95317-08600.
Replaces Damper on SR400FI - #3HT-14737-R0 (when fitting our Goods stainless head pipes).
Replaces Dampers SR400/500 Carb - #2J2-14737-01, and #2J2-14737-01-00 (when replacing with a stainless head pipe or new genuine pipe).
Note: Early model used a nut and spring washer. Late model bikes used a self-locking nut. This set uses a self-locking type of nut. However, we always recommend using thread locker such as Loctite blue for all fixtures on the SR due to vibrations that SRs are known for.
NOTES:
1. Please ensure you use the damper at the front to support the pipe to help prolong the life of your pipe.
