The DAYTONA SR400 CLIP ON BAR "KIT" is a pre-package set of parts with the DAYTONA OMEGA adjustable clip-on bars, DAYTONA handlebar limiter and the correct length set of cables / brake line. The kit is all inclusive with the essentials to get your clip-on conversion done easily.
Designed specifically for use with the SR400 (01~08) & SR400FI (10~19) being converted to clip on bar specification. Bars are adjustable between 9~15 degrees for individual rider position set up using the DAYTONA (Pat.P) taper process. More details of these bars can be seen in the omega bar page. Bars are solid alloy so bar ends cannot be fitted (within bar). All parts are made in Japan to the highest standards. Brake line used in this kit is the DAYTONA HIGH SPEC STAINLESS line which offers an upgrade over the rubber line. The cable inner wires are stainless, outer casing is black.

OPTIONAL PARTS:
This set includes all of the essentials, however, keep in mind you may also require *separate headlights stay, indicator stays, and you need to consider if your mirrors are suitable for use with clip on bars. We carry all related add on and dress up parts for clip on conversions including a range of top bridges to finish the job like a pro!
COMPATIBILITY NOTES:
-> This set fits the year model listed above; use on other SR year models are not possible.

ATTENTION:
1. Cables should be lubed at time of fitment.
2. Fitting should be carried out by a qualified experienced mechanics as per the factory workshop manual.
3. Cables should always be tested before use on road to ensure the return function of throttle and function of the other cables is uninhibited and that the cables have the correct free play & adjustment.
4. Always use new gaskets (washers) when fitting the brake line and ensure your banjo bolts are correct size to match the banjo fittings. Kit is compiled for factory fitted bikes, if you have made alterations to the master cylinder or any other parts relating to this kit, please check compatibility prior.
5. *Changing any component on your brake system requires a high level of experience. This line should only be fitted by a licensed qualified mechanic. Brake system will require bleeding before use.
