Product Overview

DAYTONA / KEDO SR400/500 FUEL PETCOCK, 98713

When replacing the carburetor with a larger / high performance unit, the normal fuel cock cannot always supply enough fuel because it is a negative pressure type, but this fuel cock will enable sufficient supply. A reserve setting is included for peace of mind in the unlikely event you run out of fuel. The built-in filter can be removed for cleaning.

Features,
- This is a normal gravity feed type fuel cock
- The petcock contains a washable fuel filter inside
- The fuel cock is recommended for use with performance type carburetors - (such as the FCR, TMR, CR, etc.)

Included,
- Main petcock unit
- Mounting base
- Rubber base gasket
- Mounting bolts / washers
- Blind Cap

Notes:
• This product is designed exclusively for SR400/500 (built between 1978 ~ 2008). Please do not use it for other bike models.
• Do not fit to tanks other than the normal tank (or those made specifically for the SR400/500 with the same petcock mount and mounting tolerances).
• Never perform additional machining to the base adapter, (such as cutting, grinding, or welding, disassembly, or modification to this product in any way). Not only will the specified performance not be achieved, but there is a risk of serious accidents if the unit fails due to modifications. In addition, it is not covered by our prescribed product warranty if altered.
• It is necessary to remove the fuel in the tank during the installation work. Gasoline is highly flammable, so handle it with care and work in a place where there is no flames or ignition source that could ignite the fuel and or vapors. This includes sparks from wiring work or wires that may be poorly fitted.
• Do not work in a closed room when handling with fuel. The fuel vapor can be harmful if breathed in, and it is flammable.
• All non-standard fuel parts are sold for race use ONLY unless stated otherwise. *Always switch to off when not in use.
• Petcock must be fitted correctly by an experienced mechanic.
