CF POSH MOTO, SR400 (2003 - 2008) DIGITAL "SUPER BATTLE" CDI, 841461 - (841360)
The CF POSH digitally controlled CDI unit allows you to easily switch between four ignition map settings by using the inbuilt switch. This allows for greater tuning options when setting up your bike, unlike the factory unit which has the one fixed map. This is perfect for owners modifying their bikes or for those who simply want to fine tune the ignition. You can also use this unit as an alternative to the factory CDI simply by setting the map to the factory map setting (position number 2).
Note: If using as an alternative to the factory unit, keep in mind this 03-08 version disables the immobilizer unit. In other words, the factory immobilizer will no longer function.

OTHER DETAILS:
The CDI comes fitted with the correct terminal plugs for the 2003–2008-year model (Japanese domestic market / import), so there is no guess work. Check images above. Also added is an output terminal for use with an electrical tachometer (1 pulse per revolution: 12V square wave output). The CF POSH Super Battle Professional Racing C.D.I has eliminated the rev limiter, and it ensures superior ignition timing that outperforms the normal CDI output characteristics.
Designed for one-touch installation, simply remove the old CDI and plug in the new CDI coupler. Set your desired map while tuning. Made in Japan.

Q: If I fit a 500cc crank to my 400cc engine, is this CDI still, ok?
A: Yes of course, and it can be better to use this unit to ensure the ignition is correctly set up, and to take advantage of your modifications.
Q: Do you sell these CDI units for different year models?
A: Yes, we sell CF POSH MOTO Digital CDI units for early (85~92) models which is also often used on 79-92 and later (01~02) models, please select the correct unit prior to purchase. If in doubt, ask before ordering.
Q: Can I use my original coil with this CDI?
A: Yes, you can as long as it's in good order. However, we recommend using the POSH racing coils, see our selection in store.
ATTENTION:
1. The RPM limiter has been removed. Please be careful not to damage your engine due to over-revving.
2. Please note, not all electric tachometers will work with the CDI output wire designed for electric tachometers. Some Tachos may still need to be wired to the coil as per normal (using an interrupt wire).
3. This unit is for racing purposes only.
4. Always check your bikes year model correctly to ensure this part will be compatible. Imports can at times have the incorrect year of manufacture on the paperwork, if in doubt just ask for details.
5. This 03-08 version disables the immobilizer unit. In other words, the factory immobilizer will no longer function.
