CF POSH SR400/500 (1985 - 1992) Super Battle Racing CDI, 838361 - (83860)

The CF POSH Racing CDI unit (semi digital type) allows you to easily switch between four map settings by using the inbuilt setting switch, this allows for greater tuning options when setting up your bike. This is perfect for owners modifying their bikes or for those who simply want to fine tune the ignition after engine mods or make adjustments due to fuel or altitude. You can also use this unit as an alternative to the factory CDI (which is now discontinued) simply by setting the map to the factory map switch position.

The CDI comes fitted with the correct terminal plugs for the 85~92-year model (Japanese domestic market / import), so there is no guess work. *This unit may also fit 79-84 model sold outside of Japan, using OEM boxes marked 070000-51 or 070000-50 that were used on 79 - 92 models. *Replacement for 3H1-85540-50.

- The CF POSH Super Battle Professional Racing C.D.I has eliminated the rev limiter.
- Eliminates the side stand safety switch on applicable year models.

F.A.Q:
Q: If I fit a 500cc crank to my 400cc engine, is this CDI still, ok?
A: Yes of course, and it can be better to use this unit to ensure the ignition is correctly set up, and to take advantage of your modifications.

Q: Do you sell these CDI units for different year models?
A: Yes, we sell CF POSH MOTO Digital CDI units for early (79-92) models, (93) model, (94-00) model, (01~02) models and later (03~08) models, please select the correct unit prior to purchase.

Q: Can I use my original coil with this CDI?
A: Yes, you can as long as it's in good order. However, we recommend using the POSH racing coils, see our selection in store for early SR400/500 models.

Attention:
*The RPM limiter has been removed. Please be careful not to damage your engine due to over-revving. *This unit is for racing purposes only. *Note that ignition timing control in 838360/838361 is analog controlled (early model) *Always check your bikes year model correctly to ensure this part will be compatible. Imports can at times have the incorrect year of manufacture on the paperwork, if in doubt just ask for details.
