POSH SR400 ('94-02) SR500 (94-99) MACHINED TZ REPLICA TOP BRIDGE, SMOKED SILVER, 010166-23.

POSH have re-produced the TZ replica top bridge for the SR400 ('94 -'02) & SR500 ('94 -'99) *and other suitable SR models. Produced by precision CNC alloy machining instead of using cast alloy make this a unique high quality top bridge for the SR400/500. The finish is superb due to the precision machining, shot blast finish and high quality anodizing done in Japan. The factory handlebar lock is possible and can be used due to the supplied offset ignition switch mount.

Available here in a unique matt SMOKED SILVER colour (enhanced by the shot blast finish). This is an essential part for all high quality builds using clip on bars. Made in Japan.

-> SR400 ('03 ~ '17) - *(Owners who have removed or re-located the factory JDM immobiliser / ignition switch unit, such as under tank switch re-location) or bikes sold in regions such as Australia / USA etc. without the JDM type immobiliser (using the normal ignition switch), are also compatible. See below.

-> SR400/500 ('78 ~'93), we have not tested directly on an earlier bike. However, the use of a slightly longer switch spacer set should enable use as normal. Or if using a switch re-location kit and by fitting an extra lock nut to the steering stem to adjust lock nut height slightly, you should also be able use on the earlier models (TBC).

Recommended for use with the stainless POSH Handlebar limiter 3 (or DAYTONA limiter) to prevent switches interfering with the tank.

EXTRA INFO & INSTALLATION TIPS:
-> *Unlike the Japanese sold SR400FI (sold in Japan) the Australia released vesion SR400FI (14~17 injected model) do not use the large immobiliser unit that is found on the Japanese sold bikes. Therefore, this kit can also be used on the later models sold outside of Japan (without the immobiliser aerial type ignition switch).

-> It is possible to use handlebar lock due to the offset switch mount supplied.

-> Use of the original meters and headlight is possible with the use of separate headlight stays - (mounts are provided on the T/B).

-> When removing the ignition switch from your factory top bridge drilling may be required to remove the factory blind bolts.

-> Fitting of the top bridge should be done with the use of clip-on bars (obviously as you lose the risers).

-> The OEM headlight bracket can not be used with clip on bar use, please fit separate headlight brackets (as per all clip on conversions). See our range in stock.

-> The factory indicators will in most cases need to be relocated, see our selection of indicator stays
