POSH SR400/500 (78~8/88) THROTTLE CABLES, -100mm SHORT, 010133-A1.
The POSH SR400 SHORT THROTTLE CABLES are (-100mm) shorter than standard (genuine) cables and are suitable for clip on bar conversions or low clubman bars. They can also be used with some narrow drag bars or on bikes with dropped front suspension (lowered). When changing to clip on bars the factory cables are too long which ruins the atmosphere of the conversion and can look unsightly. Improved routing is possible with short cables and operation is improved without worries of kinks.
The set is sold as a PUSH / PULL SET (PAIR). POSH cables are made in Japan to a high standard, the inner wires are stainless, outer casing is black.
SUITS:
- (78~8 /88) models using the VM32SS & VM34SS type carb (factory type VM)
- SR's using the FCR flat slide carb
- SR's using the CR large body carb - (such as the CR38)
- SR's using the Mikuni TMR36
*The Length of this cable set is referred to as -100mm (short). Some early model bikes had "wide bars". In that case the cable may be shorter than -100mm. if unsure of suitability, consider that the cable is for clip on bar use (or similar low bars).
NOTE: Cables should be lubed at time of fitment. Fitting should be carried out by a qualified experienced mechanic's as per the factory workshop manual. Cables should always be tested before use on road to ensure the return function is uninhibited and cables have correctly adjusted free play.
