DAYTONA YAMAHA PULSE CONVERTER, DRUM, 18mm INSERT, 87041
The DAYTONA Speed Pulse Converter J1 (Dia 18 mm) Insert type is for use with DAYTONA VELONA gauges and DAYTONA original electrical gauges. It is also compatible with DEVA-01 and the Daytona CUBE. The convienient 18mm insert size is mainly used on the SR400/500 and other classic Yamaha models with drum brake speed drives.

The speed pulse converter fitting diameter is 18mm. The durable alloy body is fitted with an Oring making for a quick and easy install. Simply remove the factory Speedo cable, grease the Oring and drive fitting and then re insert to cable hole. Hold in place with the factory cable clip.
The speed pulse converter is used to convert the mechanical Speedo cable movement to an electrical pulse signal. It is most commonly used on the SR400/500 with front drum brake, use of this part makes for a plug and play situation when upgrading to an electrical gauge on your older SR400/500.
The wire length is approx. 1800 mm giving ample length to fit neatly and route up the fork leg. For ease of use the wires are pre-fitted with bullet connectors (c 104 type).

This list is a a guide only and you should check your current Speedometer cable (or speed sensor) to ensure this product is the correct size for your model prior to purchase.
- SR400 with front Drum Brake (direct replacement for Speedo cable)
- SR500 with front Drum Brake (direct replacement for Speedo cable)
- Possibly other Yamaha models with an 18 mm insert type Speedo cable (XS650/TW200/XT MODELS etc.)
NOTE: These sensors are a three-wire type and not compatible with two wire feeds used on other gauges. (NEG). Always check the details and specs for compatibility. Use with Daytona and Daytona VELONA electrical gauges.
