DAYTONA SR400/500 SHORT SIDE STAND - BLACK - 95204.
The DAYTONA short side stand is available in two colour options. (Chromed and Black). This listing is for the BLACK version. The stand is approximately 65mm shorter when compared to OEM (factory) stand. When lowering the rear shocks tp approx. 280mm the use of the short stands is essential to avoid your bike falling over. The stand can be used for bikes that have been lowered by approx. 40mm at the rear & front 0-40 mm. (In this case, the tilt angle is approximately 10-15 degrees.)
It is possible to use the factory side stand switch as normal when installing this stand and it uses OEM mounting bolts & nuts. Match with the DAYTONA shortened front springs and your choice of rear shocks for a lowered stance.

NOTE: *It requires the YAMAHA OEM link side stand bracket: 3VD-27315-00 separately for 1978-92 model. Your bike may have this already, but if not please add at time of installation. Depending on the amount you lower your bike the inclination when parking may be inappropriate if lowered more than specs outlined above or when the road condition is unsuitable.
