DAYTONA SPEED PULSE CONVERTER, R65, R80, R100, 88457
The DAYTONA 88457 Speed Pulse Converter is for BMW boxer models. Suitable for use with: R65, R80, R100 ETC. The dedicated BMW sensor will run all of the VELONA gauges on your BMW custom build without fuss.
This speed pulse converter is mostly used on classic BMW R models to run the DAYTONA VELONA and DAYTONA electrical gauges including DEVA & CUBE. Converts the mechanical movement to an electrical pulse, (pulse converter replaces the Speedo cable). The DAYTONA pulse converter is an engine mounted type and simply fits to the Speedo cable factory location for a neat appearance. Rubber boot supplied keeps the speed converter protected from the elements.
Simply swap over the cable boss (grommet) as seen in the guide (see images).

NOTE:
1: These sensors are a three-wire type and are not compatible with two wire feeds used on other brands of gauges. Images shows a brass finish, fitting is now stainless.
2: Keep in mind, certain BMW year models may also need a generator lamp / resistor added when fitting aftermarket type gauges to ensure a solid 12v source.
