DAYTONA VELONA ELECTRICAL "TACHOMETER" OPTIONAL HARNESS, GB350/CT125, 26231
The Tachometer optional harness is used to correct unstable or electrically - noisy pulse signals. Certain bike models can have a poor or noisy pulse signal that can create an unstable Tachometer needle or intermittent fluctuations of the dial needle, on certain models it may be due to the ignition system or other accessories installed to the bike such as HID headlights or high output headlights etc.
This harness set is compatible with the HONDA GB350 and the HONDA CT125 and has the correct terminals to be plug and play with the GB350 and CT125 using Daytona VELONA gauges, it can help correct bad pulse signals and stabilize the needle.
Also, if you decide not to purchase the GB or CT dedicated tachometer kits, but rather opt to mount the tachometer yourself, then this wire can be added to your tachometer purchase or - simply use for repairs when required.

FAQ:
Q: Is a wiring diagram supplied?
A: No, but if you have a GB and require an image we can help.
Q: Can this product also be used with VELONA Speedometers?
A: NO. This product is used for RPM pulse ONLY!
Q: Are there any fixes I should try before adding this optional harness? (universal use - non-GB/CT)
A: Yes. You can make sure you have not bundled the pulse wire & other wiring with bike harness or accessories, check you have a solid earth, & check if there are any accessories wired to the same wiring as the tachometer that may inadvertently cause interference.
ATTENTION:
1. Do not connect the wire harness to anything other than the pulse line of the tachometer.
2. The wiring color for the pulse input wire may differ for each meter (tacho) model (for example 48mm gauges and 60mm gauges pulse wire colour may differ).
3. Please refer to the GB350 or CT125 gauges instruction manual when wiring to ensure you are connecting to the correct wire (pulse wire).
4. Please be careful to not bend or force the optional harness section that contains the resistor when fitting - as you may damage it.
