POSH SR400/500 (78~'2017), & XT500/TT500 TACHOMETER GEAR BLANKING CAP, 010074-03.
When the tachometer (and tacho cable) is removed when using a speedo only, or when fitting electrical gauges (such as DAYTONA VELONA Tachometer), this cap is used to blank off the tachometer gear hole at the engine cam cover - (where the tachometer gear cable would normally fit). Machined from aluminum. Made in Japan to ensure quality. We will add an O-ring when purchasing (not shown in the image).
NOTE:
-> The normal SR tachometer cable O-ring fits this part.
-> The cable circlip is re used to hold the cap in place.
