Product Overview

DAYTONA HD SPORTSTER ('86~'03), SOFTAIL ('86~'99) OIL TEMP GAUGE, 200°C, STAINLESS BODY / WHITE DIAL, 62487
As the name implies, this is an oil temperature gauge dip stick. The Daytona oil temp gauge has chromed housing. The temp gauge fitted is a high-quality Japanese made oil temp gauge. Oil level marking indicators are on the temp probe for level reference. A cool part that is a long-time seller from the Daytona range! Use to keep an eye on temperature during summer, when warming the engine up or for styling your bike. Easy fit up, simply replace the OEM dip stick.

Dial direction and fitment:
When attached to the bike the dial direction may tilt or face in the wrong direction (depending on the bike).
- To adjust, read supplied instructions.
- Warm up the bike (so gauge is warm)
- Carefully remove the circlip using the correct tools - (failing to do so can cause damage to the dial face)
- Gently rotate the dial to the desired position
- Re-fit and check position is correct, if so, reinstall the circlip
- Fit to bike - enjoy.

Attention:
- Only use on compatible models, *do not use on other models, even if the screw diameter is the same.
- When handling the temp gauge (whilst hot) take care! Hot oil can cause burns.
- Always wear gloves to protect your hands, also use suitable protection for your bikes fuel tank to avoid oil drips on your paint work.
- Take care to NOT drop the temp gauge, it has a sensitive temp probe, if it lands on the probe, it can cause damage!
- Water droplets may adhere to the glass surface (or it may mist over) due to the difference between the oil temperature and the outside temperature. This will clear as bike warms up or if sat in the sun for a few minutes.
