The POSH stainless handlebar limiter (Type 3), with its larger stoppers at the contact point, is designed to accommodate motorcycles with larger tanks or those who like to angle the bars back further. It's an ideal match for bikes adorned with POSH tank covers, as well as those sporting the polished alloy BSA tank and Norton replica tank.

The versatility of the POSH limiter also makes it perfectly suited for use with standard factory tanks, especially for riders who prefer to pull the bars back further than usual (as noted above). This allows achieving that custom, classic café racer stance that everyone strives for. The larger stoppers effectively limit the bar-to-tank contact distance, a crucial factor when using clip-on bars.

*XS650: For XS650 owners who's bikes have the same 35mm fork/clamp arrangement as the SR500, you can also use this parts without issue.

NOTE: The bar limiters can inhibit the use of the steering lock on some year models, unless you are using in combination with an offset ignition switch mount, or with the DAYTONA polished top bridge or POSH TZ top bridge (both have an offset switch mount). Steering lock will be essential for road worthy in most countries. As an alternative You can also re - drill the frame stop to correct the issue if not using one of the off set switch mounts.
