The OUTLOUD subframe kit is designed to make customization of the BMW mono lever available to builders and end users alike. With an open end type subframe it allows you to set up the way you want. Fit with a rear fender or use with the separately sold fender-less light bracket. The kits main feature is the compatibility with SR400 / 500 custom seats.
As the kit is compatible with SR400/500 (carbie) type seats, it gives you a wide range of seat options out of the box. For many years our customers have reconfigured their BMW's to allow for use with the SR Nitroheads seats. This usually comes at a cost with fabrication of subframes, welding onto the existing frame and so on. With the use of this kit the genuine seat, seat rails, tail lamps, etc. can all be preserved so it is possible to return to genuine seat and subframe at any time. The BMW Mono Lever Model sub-frame has 4 bolts so it can be removed relatively easily. Wiring processing such as tail lamps is necessary, but it is easy to return to the genuine condition.
The design also allows you to change the style of the custom seat easily (use flat or café style seats as you like). Unlike other basic "bent pipe stay" type subframes, this kit has many laser cut parts that are expertly welded together in Japan to produce this kit. The quality is impressive and can be used by professionals and garage builders alike. Made in Japan.

NOTE: A dedicated tail lamp bracket is sold separately or use of a DIY fender set up is possible (use one of our fender blanks for example).
Fender-less taillight bracket fits with a range of universal type taillights such as the Lucas 525 style, LED new Lucas etc.
