UNIVERSAL HEAT SHIELD, BLACK, STEEL, STRAIGHT OPEN HOLE TYPE – 92900
DAYTONA narrow black universal heat shield. The slit/ straight (narrow) type muffler guard can be used to prevent burns from heat of the muffler. Its fits to exhaust pipes sized from 33 - 61 mm dia. Mounting is easily done with the two provided clamps as sold, so there is no need to weld on mounts. However, you can also mount as you like to suit your custom build by using this as the base for your customization. If you use it together with insulation (heat wrap), you can achieve a more thermal insulation.

Attention: Only work on exhaust systems once they have cooled enough to touch. Trying to install on hot exhausts can lead to burns. Heat shields should be installed as an aid to helping you to not directly touch hot exhaust pipes. This is a universal product, installation by knowledgeable installers is recommended.
