DAYTONA LED "FLASHER" IC RELAY 2 PIN TYPE, 1w - 100w, 12.8 v, 85 c/m, 86968
The DAYTONA LED turnsignal "flasher" IC relay is a compact 2pin IC relay, measuring just 27mm x 23mm x 17mm. The relay is supplied with a 2P to 3P harness (adapter) for convenient plug and play use on many bike models. Rated at 1w~100w, 12.8 v, 85 c/m it will enable you to use this relay with a wide range of LED (& bulb) turn signals and maintain the correct flash rate. Use with our DAYTONA LED indicators (D Light SOL, D light SOL-W, New D light SOL TII, D Light Stellar, and D Light) and other suitable LED lamps.
*Confirmed use on W650, W800, W400, SR400, SR500, TW200, TW225, YZF-R25 & R3 (2017), CB750 RC42, Honda GROM etc. etc. Relay is also often found in our Daytona LED turn signal kits (incase of repair or replacement needs). See below list also.
FEATURES:
-> Steady flash rate that does not change due to the difference in power consumption.
-> It can be used for bulb turn signals and LED turn signals.
-> Supplied with a 2pin to 3-pin type adapter harness (see images to confirm compatibility).
-> Supplied with convenient relay holder/hanger rubber for an OEM equivalent fit up.
DETAILS:
-> DC 12 Volt use only - (does not suit 6v use).
-> 1 W to 100 W compatible. See notes below.
-> Approx. 85 flashes per minute.
NOTE / TIPS:
-> Many LED indicator now exist. Some cheaper LED indicators quote incorrect wattage. This relay is fine with most lamps of 1.5w or higher (each lamp, so = 3W per side). However, if using micro indicators or lower wattage lamps, consider using the 3 x wire relay with earth wire to ensure stability at lower rates.
-> See our three pin LED relay (wide band range option) suitable for general / universal use and it can also be used on Bulb and LED lamps. The attached ground cable on the 88985 relay, can provide a stable supply even with low power consumption. Depending on your bikes modification the earth wire type may be more suitable. However, for basic sets up the 86968 is typically fine.
CAUTION:
+ As this is an IC type relay there is NO clicking operational sound heard when in use.
+ This product is for DC 12 V vehicles only & is a universal use relay.
+ Do not install it on 6volt bikes or 12v AC models as it may cause a malfunction & cause damage to your light system and damage the relay.
+ This product is compatible with our Daytona LED blinkers and valve (BULB) blinkers.
+ We have only tested with Daytona LED blinkers, and bulb blinkers, (but have not checked or confirmed with other brands, but many have done so without issue).
+ Please check before purchasing. Depending on your bike type, and existing relay and relay wiring, some additional wiring or coupler work may be required. Relay may not be suitable in some circumstances depending on bike model.
