DAYTONA SR400/500 STAINLESS REAR HALF FENDER "KIT", WITH TAILLIGHT, 15729.
The DAYTONA rear stainless half fender kit (with taillight) is recommended for FI models SR400 (10~18) that are difficult to modify around the airbox area (AKA Ska Tune - Suka Tune). Due to the fuel pump arrangement on the SR400FI (injected model) typically the air box is left in place with the FI model.
*However, this kit is suitable for all year model SR's (SR400/500). Therefore, the fender kit can also be used on carbie models without issue. In that case it can be installed with the inner factory lower or forward fender (as per the FI suggestion above) or when using the rear frame mud guard / flat panel (common on Tracker builds).
Length is well-balanced for normal seats and suitable for a range of double seats & aftermarket custom seats. Since it uses an inner fender together, it is also resistant to mud splatter etc. And of course, you can paint this fender and taillight base to suit your custom build. The quality level is very high, so minimal prep work before paint is needed.

+ SR400/500 ('78 -'08) - bolt on.
*This is a dedicated SR400/500 product. It may possibly be adapted to other similar models such as the XS650, various Honda CB models, however we cannot answer questions in regard to installation on other models.

-> Material: Stainless steel with a polished finish. Brackets are steel - chromed.
-> Length: Fender is slightly longer by 35mm when compared to the stainless rear fender (39147/45218).
-> Suits: SR400 / 500 ('80 ~ '08) & SR400 ('10 ~ '19) FI.
-> Other: Tail lamp mounting holes have been predrilled / machined on the fender for easy installation.

NOTE:
-> Fender is pre machined for the supplied cast alloy taillight. And the adjustable stainless lamps can be used for replacement. If you need spares, lamps, reflectors kits, brackets etc. are available for repairs.
-> Taillight mounting holes and fender radius configuration also suits the adjustable tail lamp kits (45139/45140) as well as the cast alloy taillight kit (93020).
-> If using the above matching taillights, it is recommended to always fit a reflector kit.
-> The factory inner front mudguard is installed at the same time as this fender.
-> The fender may show some minor processing marks on the lower side (unseen when fitted).
-> Whilst the fender is stainless and lamp is alloy, the brackets shown in the image above are chromed, depending on your use and parking location, chrome can see some surface rust, we recommend cleaning your bike regularly if parking near the ocean on a regular basis.
