DAYTONA (KEDO) SR400/500/SR400FI TWIN FEED OIL LINE - (SILVER), 93264.
The twin oil line kit made by KEDO (supplied by DAYTONA) is used to replace the genuine factory oil line that is only connected to the rocker arm shaft on the exhaust side (*In the initial SR model, the oil line is connected only to the rocker shaft on the intake side). When using this twin oil line kit oil is distributed to the rocker arm shaft on the intake side and exhaust sides to improve lubrication performance. The twin oil line kit will have a greater effect when installed at the same time as a reinforced oil pump, however as a standalone product they help offer improved lubrication and cooling to the rockers.
The line is resistant to vibration and is ideal for engines with increased vibration after being tuned. The SR genuine oil line that runs only on the EX side is made of metal, at times it can break unexpectedly due to engine vibration, usually after a prolonged period of use and especially after modifications to the engine have been done. For reliable oil delivery and to avoid problems with the OEM oil line, replaced with the twin line kit.
