DAYTONA SR400/500 (8/88~00) CLIP ON HANDLEBAR "KIT", 91862.
The DAYTONA SR400 CLIP ON BAR "KIT" is a pre selected year model correct set. The convenient kit consists of all the essentials required. Including the SR400/500 short cables, Daytona OMEGA adjustable alloy clip-on handlebars and a Daytona handlebar limiter (see images). Basically the kit is all inclusive with the essentials to get your clip on conversion done easily. Bars are adjustable between 9 ~15 degrees for individual rider position set up.
This set includes all of the essentials, however, you may also require separate headlights stays, indicator stays and you need to consider your mirrors are suitable for use with clip on bars. -> Designed specifically for use with the SR400/500 (8/88~00) model being converted to clip on bar specification (does not fit other SR models). Throttle cables suit the early CV carb, and brake cable suits the factory SR drum brake.

All parts are made in Japan to the highest standards. The inner wires are stainless, outer casing is black.
This set fits the year model listed above, use on other SR year models is not possible. For alternative year models see our separate listings.
NOTE:
+ Cables should be lubed at time of fitment.
+ Fitting should be carried out by a qualified experienced mechanics only.
+ Cable should be installed and adjusted as per the factory workshop manual.
+ Cables and functions should always be tested before use on road.
+ Check throttle cables to ensure the return function is uninhibited.
+ Check cables have the correct free play & adjustment.
+ Changing any component on your brake system requires a high level of experience.
+ Clip on bars change the handling of the bike and rider position, you should always become familiar with the new position and handling of your bike before use on public roads.
+ Customization requires a high level of skill if you are not experienced, you should ask a licensed mechanic to do the job.
+ Laws differ from state to state and from country to country, always check changes are permissible in your area.
