SR400/500 HANDLE POST CAP SR400/500 ('78~2018), 97062

The polished handle post alloy filler cap can be attached to the “handle post hole” of the factory SR400/500 top bridge (and some XS650 models using the same top bridge as the SR) when you convert your bike to clip on bar specifications. In most cases customers will opt to change the top bridge to a polished alloy top bridge or CNC machine top bridge, however this cap allows for a more economical solution, and it also allows you to swap back to riser bars in future if you decide to revert to normal bars - (with the use of your risers).

Suits: SR400/500 78 ~ '08, and SR400FI'10~18 (injected version)

- Machined aluminum with a high quality polished finish.
- You can also paint the cap to match with painted top bridges.
- Economical option to finish your clip on conversion neatly.

Notes:
- Sale is for x 1 cap, with stainless bolt, if you need one for the left and right order x 2 pcs.
- The photo above (and below) is an example using left and right (two pieces).
- Yamaha genuine flat washer (# 90201-10149) is required for installation (or re-use your original washer from your risers).
- If the surface is left as it is, it might oxidize (as with most alloy parts), especially when parked near the ocean or left out doors in the weather for prolonged periods. The shine can be easily replenished with aluminum polish.
