EXTRA INFO:
For many years this fender has been the choice of Kawasaki W650 & W800 & Yamaha SR400/500 owners and builders in Japan and abroad! Unlike copycat products, this fender is superior in many ways, including it being fitted with sturdy 3mm thick stays, and a thicker stainless is used in the construction of the fender compared to most other similar products, this ensures the strength is maintained between the forks.
Holes in the stays are elongated so use with a wide range of tyres is possible as fender has some adjustment up and down (approx. 20mm). And out of the box as expected, the fender suits use with the factory 19"wheel. Tyres such as Firestone, Avon’s and some Scrambler inspired treads have been used with the fender. You may need to adjust the height setting / hole length - depending on the exact tyres used. In short, it looks great with OEM spec tyres and vintage tyres. Just check the spec!
NOTE:
For those wanting to take some creative control, keep in mind we also sell full-length rear fender blanks in stainless and in steel *that matches this fender. Fender blanks have the same radius.
