The GOODS CO. LTD SR400FI (injected model) "Classic" polished stainless head-pipe is a great addition for those looking to open up their exhaust and add a stylish classic / custom looking pipe! This version of the "Classic stainless exhaust pipe" has the 02-bung welded in for FI models and is styled with the same subtle and beautiful curve as the carbie version of this pipe!
Completely handmade by craftsmen in Osaka Japan using the 'hand-bending' method. The design has a 'finish' that cannot be achieved by machine bending due to the curve of the pipe making it a unique product in today's machine reliant parts manufacturing!
Since the pipe is made of stainless, you will obtain a nice straw-coloured glow from the pipe that is sort by SR builders! Also, as the pipe is installed in the same location as the genuine factory exhaust pipe, the genuine silencer can also be used. Or alternatively, fit a suitable aftermarket muffler. (The head pipe fits in the genuine factory position, meaning it is suitable with a range of aftermarket mufflers, including Goods Co. mufflers, Peyton Place mufflers, as well as many others with suitable positioning and diameter at the joint, including the OEM silencer as mentioned above)
The damper used (attached to the bottom of the frame) is the genuine product and is also sold separately (see #G4-00110-01). Lastly, keep in mind the inner pipe diameter is larger than the factory double pipe structure due to being a single wall head pipe. This opens the exhaust flow compared to the factory pipe.
Regarding images: Some images above are of the carbie model (for illustration only). This pipe is like teh main image with 02 sensor fitting installed!

-> Pipe insert measurement: Φ41.5mm,
-> Pipe slip joint size (where muffler & gasket fits) - approx. 41.2mm
-> Pipe OD measurement: Φ42.7mm
-> 02 fitting is welded into pipe - suits SR400 2010 - final (injected models).
-> Always check above specs to ensure fitment is ok with the muffler being used
-> Sold for racing use.
NOTES:
1. SR400/500 78~08 models (carbie) are not suitable for use with this pipe.
2. Due to manufacturing characteristics, slight radius differences and processing marks may be visible, (which only adds to the character of course).
3. Tuning of your injection is not always required. *However, you should always check the fuel trim due to the difference in pipe flow when making alterations such as free flow silencers and pipe change etc.
4. Please ensure you use the damper at the front to support the pipe.
