The FORK CO finned heat guard is a unique standalone heat guard (shield) for exhaust systems. Each heat guard (shield) is individually handmade and sand cast by experienced craftsman. They are finished by hand with great attention to detail. The heat guard is made for straight pipes, with a 45mm diameter. Made to be easy to install with simple tools, as the guard is supplied with 2 x mounting base brackets that can be easily installed anywhere on the straight part of the exhaust pipe (as long as it has 242mm of length). This eliminates the need for welding mounts to the exhaust pipe!
However, for builders and fabricators, you can also install to your custom-made mounts if you like. The Fork Co. Ltd finned heat guard can be used not only as a heat guard, but also for decorating the exhaust - such as drag pipes. This handmade piece makes a big impact on vintage builds and show bikes alike, it often used by top Harley and street bike builder in Japan!

Note: For placements in extreme heat positions, you may also consider fitting some heat wrap under the guard if fitting in an area where you may be prone to burn.
Attention: Only work on exhaust systems once they have cooled enough to touch. Trying to install on hot exhausts can lead to burns. Heat shields should be installed as an aid to helping you to not directly touch hot exhaust pipes. This is a universal product, installation by knowledgeable installers is recommended.
