The DAYTONA "DEVA01" Multifunction Cockpit is a versatile and compact all in one dash unit designed to enhance the functionality of motorcycles and ATVs. It integrates all necessary functions into one unit, making it an efficient solution for riders who value both performance and convenience. The DEVA 01’s design accommodates various mounting options, courtesy of the M5 screw holes on the rear, and the stainless-steel bracket provided caters to handle posts with a pitch range of 63mm to 112mm spacing. You can also fit to your own one-off bracket to suit your customisation.

The inclusion of a reed type speed sensor ensures compatibility with bikes that do not generate an electrical speed signal, broadening its applications. However, as an option we also offer many bikes specific pulse sensors and the universal proximity sensor that doesn’t require use of a magnet.

In summary, the Daytona DEVA01 is a versatile gauge that complements just about any bike build style where a dash type unit is desired and clear and precise functions take priority. Suitable for use on custom builds, café-racers and even vintage/classic bikes if used correctly, and of course it can be used as an OEM replacement when needed. EXTRA INFO:
-> Speed sensors:The DEVA 01 kit "includes" a magnetic reed type speed sensor, however if you prefer you can buy one of the direct fitting (model specific) type pulse sensor separately. The speed sensor options are available in our instrument and gauges section under (Speedo accessories). See > #87755, 87143, 87041, 87429,88457, 87430 & 87038. Or see link directly below in .2 of notes and cautions.
-> RPM pick up: Wiring is included, however, for models that cannot easily pick up a tachometer signal, or those with a poor (dirty) signal, the use of the RPM pulse rectifier is possible, see #92333 (found in the tachometer accessories section).

NOTES & CAUTIONS:
1. -> *If the bike has a standard electronic signal for speed, this speedometer can be connected to this original electronic signal in most cases (but not all). eg: W650, & many Harley models can be directly wired in etc. etc.

2. -> *If the bike is not equipped with a standard electronic signal for speed, you can use the supplied reed type sensor *or opt to purchase and use the active Daytona sensor (#87038) or one of the model specific DAYTONA pulse sensors bought separately. We stock sensors for popular models such as the SR400/500, Modern Triumphs, Classic BMW's and more! See notes above regarding speed sensors - (find sensor within the gauge accessories page here).

3. -> *Keep in mind this gauge is not suitable for 6-volt use (& many 6volt to 12v conversions). It is also *NOT suitable for use with battery lessers or bikes with highly stripped back modified race type ignition systems.

4. -> *If your particular bike suffers from "excessive" electrical noise in the system, and your gauge has an unstable needle (or is an older model), the Tacho resistor included in the kit can be used to stabilise the tachometer. For the Speedo side in teh rae case of an unstable needle, the use of the DAYTONA Speedometer "Optional Harness" 98642 can in certain circumstances also aid in stabilisation of the dial and function. The optional add on parts are generally not required, but some bikes with certain race or non standard ignitions systems may require them (typically older bikes such as CB750 / CX500 etc.).
