The VELONA80-W is an all-in-one (80mm Dia.) gauge with a stainless housing and spherical lens. The analogue style dial for both the Speedo and Tachometer compliments modern and classic bike builds. The all-in-one unit also has neatly placed inbuilt dash lights and functions information LCD screen which further adds to the clean and minimal layout. To finish off, you get modern LED back lighting. Combine all of these features and this gauge ticks all the right boxes for garage builders and professional custom bike builders alike.
Compared to your old dull OEM bulb lit gauges, with the VELONA 80 W, night rides will be instantly transformed. And just to ensure owners in all regions can use this gauge safely, the speed setting is selectable between Km/h and Mph.

The VELONA 80 W is ECE approved (ECE-R10), TUV, ABE & (C.E.) certified to meet strict Euro requirements for road use.

To compliment the great VELONA gauge range, VANEM stocks many optional add on products to help you get the job done. From the many variations of dash light units (dash lights not required with this gauge as they are inbuilt), anti-vibration stays with different offsets and angles & essentials like speed sensors, wiring and switches, VANEM has you covered with all of your needs to get the job done like a pro!
NOTES & CAUTIONS:
1. -> *If the bike has a standard electronic signal for speed, this speedometer can be connected to this original electronic signal in most cases (but not all). eg: W650, & many Harley models can be directly wired in etc. etc.
2. -> *If the bike is not equipped with a standard electronic signal for speed, please purchase and use the active Daytona sensor (#87038) or one of the model specific DAYTONA pulse sensors. We stock sensors for popular models such as the SR400/500, Modern Triumphs, Classic BMW's and more! (find sensor within the gauge accessories page here).
3. -> *Keep in mind this gauge is not suitable for 6-volt use (& many 6volt to 12v conversions). It is also *NOT suitable for use with battery lessers or bikes with highly stripped back modified race type ignition systems.
4. -> *If your particular bike suffers from excessive electrical noise in the system, and your gauge has an unstable needle (or is an older model), Tacho resistor provided can be used as mentioned above, however for the speedo side the use of the DAYTONA Speedometer "Optional Harness" 98642 can in certain circumstances also aid in stabilisation of the dial and function.
