NOTE: Recommended use with DAYTONA / NISSIN horizontal master cylinders.
ATTENTION:
- Dot5 brake fluid is not suitable for use with this MC repair kit or DAYTONA/NISSIN Horizontal master cylinders. Do not use Dot5 (BF5) silicon-based brake fluids.
- Bleeding, in some cases, bleeding may be difficult after repair due to *not only the condition of the master cylinder *but also the condition of related brake parts.
- Maintenance on the caliper side may also be required. Check your caliper also.
- Always use your factory workshop manual for instructions on repairing your Nissin Master cylinder.
- Calipers, 6POT calipers tend to be more difficult and take longer to bleed than 4POT, but if you understand the procedure and do the work, bleeding is possible,
- It is essential to bleed air from related parts for safety, so please take the time to perform the task reliably.
- Always use new gaskets (washers) when fitting the brake line to this master cylinder.
- Always ensure the banjo bolt is compatible with the master cylinder thread, depth and the line fittings size.
CAUTION:
- The brake system will require bleeding before use, as outlined above, bleeding of the system should only be carried out by qualified mechanics.
- Always ensure the Master cylinder repair kit size is correct for your application.
*Changing any component on your brake system requires a very high level of experience and skill. This master cylinder repair kit (& related parts) should only be fitted by a licensed qualified mechanic in licensed workshop.
