Product Overview

DAYTONA HIGH SPEC BRAKE LINE, STAINLESS (1000mm), DOT MARKED, (TYPE: A SPEC), 60578.

The HIGH SPEC line by DAYTONA is a stainless line with a neoprene outer to resist the elements (oil, sun, water etc.). Banjo ends are steel. The lines are DOT marked and tested, they pass and exceed the FMWS.106 (Federal safety Standard). Suits universal use on a range of models. Made in Japan to the highest standards.

For repair, upgrade, or use with custom builds requiring this length line. See image with compatibility list for more info.

DETAILS:
-> Banjo material: Steel
-> Banjo thickness: 8mm
-> Inner hose layer: Teflon
-> The hose banjo fitting is crimped to guarantee sealing, safety and performance.
-> Please use with the correct size banjo bolts, we recommend GOODRIDGE banjo bolts (sold separately)
-> Made in Japan to the highest standards by Nichirin (the manufacturers of brake lines for the best known Japanese motorcycle and automotive makes).

USAGE EXAMPLES:
SR400 use: Suits the late model SR400/SR400Fi with the factory MC & RHS caliper, *that need a longer brake line. This brake line is the equivalent to +200mm compared to the standard late model SR400 brake line. Typically used on SR400 fitted with Tracker bars, Scrambler bars, CB750K0 bars, Super Tracker bars and other Custom bars than the factory bars.

Always check length to ensure the length is suitable with the bars you are using. Line can also be used on the SR500 where a RHS calliper conversion is done, and the M/C suits line banjo angles.

TW200 use: This line is - 50mm short compared to the factory TW200/225 brake line. Therefore it suits TW using a slightly lower or narrower bar, or bikes that have been lowered front suspension.

Hose type: Two types of lines are available (A spec & D spec). The spec type refers to the banjo fitting angle in relation to each end. Lines are available in 50 mm increments and are set from 600 mm to 1100 mm to fit a wide range of models.

-> Type A: Banjo 21 ° & straight Banjo - (no turn, banjo faces the same direction at each end)
-> Type D: Banjo 21 ° & straight Banjo - (with a 90 ° turn compared to the other end)

NOTE: Always use new gaskets (washers) when fitting this line, and always ensure the banjo bolt is compatible with the line fittings. Changing any component on your brake system requires a very high level of experience and skill. This line should only be fitted by a licensed qualified mechanic in licensed workshop. The brake system will require bleeding before use, bleeding of the system should only be carried out by qualified mechanics.
