DAYTONA SR400/500 (78~08) slim line side covers - 46457
The Daytona slim side covers are an indispensable part for vintage & custom builds. The covers are exclusively for "Suka tune" specification bikes. Suka tune (AKA Ska tune in Japan) is when you modify the bike and remove the factory airbox to have an open exposed rear frame with a pod filter etc.
The visuals of the open rear end will be spoiled if you use the same full factory type side cover, and at times, due to the build style a completely open rear end just doesn't look right with certain builds. Therefore we recommend this half side cover designed exclusively for Ska tuning. It is cut on the edge line of the seat frame. Use the covers with a (suitable) electrical panel, or as a casual rain cover for K&N type air filters, etc.

Note:
- The genuine key of the left side cover cannot be used (obviously)
- Gel coat is a base treatment of the material assuming you will carry out the final processing and painting.
Spares:
- Spare parts are available by request in the event you have a fall - (LHS / RHS side covers can be supplied separately).
Attention:
1. Covers cannot be used on bikes equipped with the factory air cleaner. 2. Depending on the shape of the electrical panel being used, certain battery cases, oil catch tanks, etc., (installed simultaneously), may come into contact with the side covers, *always use compatible parts for a neat fit. 3. The photo shows the product painted for the purpose of photography. Actual product is black gel coat. Gelcoat is a base treatment for materials that are to be painted, not painted. 4. Some manufacturing marks may be present as with all fiberglass products, some minor processing before paint may be needed (although these are supplied in excellent state so any processing will be very minor if at all).
