The HIGH SPEC line by DAYTONA is a stainless line with a neoprene outer to resist the elements (oil, sun, water etc.). Banjo ends are steel. The lines are DOT marked and tested, they pass and exceed the FMWS.106 (Federal safety Standard) and it conforms to all JIS and ISO standards. Suits universal use on a range of models. Made in Japan to the highest standards.

For repair, upgrade, or use with custom builds requiring this length line.

DETAILS:
-> Banjo material: Steel
-> Banjo thickness: 8mm
-> Inner hose layer: Teflon
-> The hose banjo fitting is crimped to guarantee sealing, safety and performance.
-> Please use with the correct size banjo bolts, we recommend GOODRIDGE banjo bolts (sold separately)
-> Made in Japan

USAGE EXAMPLES:
SR400 use: This particular line suits the factory late model SR400 master cylinder and RHS caliper (as well as many other models). For the SR400 it fits all late model (01~18) SR400/SR400Fi with RHS caliper. This brake line is the equivalent to -100mm (short) compared to the standard SR400 brake line and is suitable for use on SR400 and SR400FI using clip on bars. Line can also be used on the SR500 where a RHS calliper conversion is done, and the M/C suits line banjo angles.

Hose type: Two types of lines are available (A spec & D spec). The spec type refers to the banjo fitting angle in relation to each end. Lines are available in 50 mm increments and are set from 600 mm to 1100 mm to fit a wide range of models.

-> Type A: Banjo 21 ° & straight Banjo - (no turn, banjo faces the same direction at each end)
-> Type D: Banjo 21 ° & straight Banjo - (with a 90 ° turn compared to the other end)

NOTE: Always use new gaskets (washers) when fitting this line, and always ensure the banjo bolt is compatible with the line fittings. Changing any component on your brake system requires a very high level of experience and skill. This line should only be fitted by a licensed qualified mechanic in licensed workshop. The brake system will require bleeding before use, bleeding of the system should only be carried out by qualified mechanics.
