DAYTONA SR400/500 (4/85~00) SHORT BRAKE CABLE, -100mm, #30173.
The DAYTONA SR400/500 SHORT BRAKE CABLE, (-100mm) is made for use on the SR400 (4/85~00) & SR500 (4/85~99) using the factory front drum brake and bikes that have been converted to clip on bar specification or low clubman type bars. The cable can be adjusted as per normal. All DAYTONA cables are made in Japan to the highest standards.

NOTE:
+ The Length of this cable is referred to as -100mm (shorter than std). Used for clip on bar conversions, or low bars such as clubman bars or similar.
+ Always ensure your cable is adjusted correctly and related parts are in good working order.
+ Cable should be lubed when fitting and ends should be greased.
+ Ends are made for the factory barke lever and SR factory drum brake, If you have made changes to the lever or brake, ensure changes are suitable for use with these SR cables.
+ If unfamiliar with the replacement process check your workshop manual, if in doubt have a professional, licensed mechanic fit the cable for you. Changing the brake cable is an important job to do properly!
> Cables should always be tested before use on road to ensure the return function is uninhibited and cables have correct free play adjustment.
> Changing any component on your brake system requires a high level of experience. This cable should only be fitted and adjusted by a licensed qualified mechanic.
