DAYTONA VELONA SPEEDOMETER OPTIONAL HARNESS, 98642
Installation is simple and involves connecting the harness in-line with the existing speedometer wiring. This acts as an "interrupt connection" inline to the speed-pulse wire, once installed it will minimize electrical interference and help to stabilize the dial and speed display.

Q: Is a wiring diagram supplied?
A: Yes, we have provided an English wiring diagram. (*English and Japanese guides are supplied with the product when purchased, see image above).
Q: Can this product also be used with VELONA Tachometers?
A: NO. This product is used for SPEED pulse ONLY! (For tachometers, see optional harness 98641)
NOTE:
As this is a universal product, there are situations where the harness set will not operate properly or correct unstable dials. Some bike models electrical systems may not be suitable for various reasons (such as race ignition systems, race coils etc. that lead to excessive electrical noise throughout the entire wiring system). If in doubt speak with us or your selling dealer.
ATTENTION:
1. Do not connect the wire harness to anything other than the pulse line of the Speedometer as shown in the guide.
2. The wiring color for the pulse input wire may differ for each meter model (for example 48mm gauges and 60mm gauges pulse wire colour may differ).
3. Please refer to the gauges instruction manual when wiring to ensure you are connecting to the correct wire (pulse wire).
4. Please be careful to not bend or force the harness section that contains the capacitor when fitting - as you may damage it.
