YAMAHA SR400/500 & XT500 CAST ALLOY "FINNED" STYLE OIL FILTER COVER, 93256
The DAYTONA cast alloy "FINNED" oil filter cover fits the Yamaha SR400/500 & SR400FI built from 1978 ~ 2018 and also XT/TT500 models, plus other Yamaha models such as the XT600Z (89), XT600K 90- etc. (see details below). The finned style cover style has been a popular choice for SR400/500 owners for many years. The finned design may help with air flow around the engine cover area and will add style to your SR/XT with the fins matching with the engine cylinder. The covers are a perfect addition for custom builds, as well as classic / vintage styled bikes. A small part, but it makes a big impression!

NOTE:
1. Does not include the cover O-ring. Please purchase a new cover Oring separately (see No. 17625-36).
2. Please install the cover as you would the factory OEM cover and ensure you adhere to the supplied torque settings. Always take note of teh special lower bolt position when replacing.
