The lines are DOT marked and tested and pass and exceed the FMWS.106 (Federal safety std). Suits universal use on a range of models. Made in Japan to the highest standards.

DETAILS:
-> Banjo material: Steel
-> Banjo thickness: 8mm
-> Inner hose layer: Teflon
-> The hose banjo fitting is crimped to guarantee sealing, safety and performance.
-> Please use with the correct size banjo bolts, we recommend GOODRIDGE banjo bolts (sold separately)
-> Made in Japan to the highest standards by Nichirin (the manufacturers of brake lines for the best known Japanese motorcycle and automotive makes).

USAGE EXAMPLES:
SR400/500 use: (incl. some XS650), Can be used on early model bikes with factory LHS caliper and factory type MC. this brake line is shorter than the standard length SR400/500 line (used on the early model with high / wide factory bars) and is often used with drag bars, UK bars or other low custom bars.

For repair or upgrade, or use with custom builds requiring this length line. Note, the early model SR master cylinder banjo position differs to late model type MC's, if you have changed master cylinders consider if the D type or A type suits best - (always measure to ensure suitability with your chosen bars).

W650 Use: This line is -200mm (short) compared to the (EARLY) model with HIGH bars (which has a 1000mm (D) type line). Use this line on the W650 high bar model as an upgrade or replacement when changing bars to a different spec. When used on the LOW Bar model this line is -50mm shorter compared to the factory low bar brake line (which is 800mm). Use when fitting drag bars or UK type bars that are lower than the factory low bars. Often used on the W800 and W400 when fitting custom bars. *Always check length to ensure suitability.

Hose type: Two types of lines are available (A spec & D spec). The spec type refers to the banjo fitting angle in relation to each end. Lines are available in 50 mm increments and are set from 600 mm to 1100 mm to fit a wide range of models.

-> Type A: Banjo 21 ° & straight Banjo - (no turn, banjo faces the same direction at each end)
-> Type D: Banjo 21 ° & straight Banjo - (with a 90 ° turn compared to the other end)

NOTE: Always use new gaskets (washers) when fitting this line, and always ensure the banjo bolt is compatible with the line fittings. Changing any component on your brake system requires a very high level of experience and skill. This line should only be fitted by a licensed qualified mechanic in licensed workshop. The brake system will require bleeding before use, bleeding of the system should only be carried out by qualified mechanics.
