Product Overview
DAYTONA OMEGA ALLOY CLIP ON HANDLEBARS "35mm x 22.2mm", 91861.
*The DAYTONA adjustable alloy "OMEGA CLIP ON BARS" are adjustable between 9 ~15 degrees for individual rider position set up. Bars are 22.2mm, and clamps suit 35mm fork legs. DAYTONA clip on bars use a special taper process (PAT.P) that enables three-dimensional angle adjustment. The bars are made of solid aluminium (so bar end cannot be installed). The low-profile clamp to bar area means these bars can often be fitted with master cylinder clearance unlike most CNC type clip on bars. This alone is a great feature that offers awesome aesthetics for custom bike builders and garage builders alike!
The coupling between the clamp and the handlebar is secured by a safe / strong taper and screw. The strength tests have cleared 6,600 kg/cm of Amsler tester. For convienience the bars come with a 6 mm hex wrench (6mm Alan key) for mounting & adjustment. As bars are solid, there is no need for a bar ends, & when fitted with open end grips it exposes the rounded polished bar end. Bar end mirrors can be clamped to the bars.
Being solid also helps lessen vibrations which is a bonus on models such as the SR400/500. Sold for over two decades and considered the go to bar for cafe racer and custom builds by customers and proffesional builders!
