CF POSH RACING CDI, DIGITAL SUPER-BATTLE PROFFESIONAL, FOR SR400 1993 (3HT5) & SR500 1993 (3GW4), 838366
The CF POSH 93 model (semi digitally controlled) racing CDI is made for the Yamaha SR400 1993 (3HT5), and the Yamaha SR500 1993 (3GW4) models (sold in Japan or in other parts of the world *aka grey imports). The CF POSH CDI enables you to easily switch between four map settings by using the inbuilt switch, this allows for greater tuning options when setting up your bike. This is perfect for owners who are modifying their bikes (using a big bore kit or High Comp piston etc.) or for those who simply want to fine tune the ignition.
Alternative you can use this CDI as a replacement unit for the factory CDI (which is now discontinued and very hard to obtain), by setting the map to the factory map position (2), the map will then be similar to OEM. Also, this unit is far more economical than new old stock OEM CDI units!

Q: If I fit a 500cc crank to my 400cc engine, is this CDI still, ok?
A: Yes of course, and it can be better to use this unit to ensure the ignition is correctly set up, and to take advantage of your modifications.
Q: Do you sell these CDI units for different year models?
A: Yes, we sell CF POSH Digital CDI units for early (85~92 models), (93 model), (94~00 models), (01~02) model and the later (03~08) models, please select the correct unit prior to purchase.
Q: Can I use my original coil with this CDI?
A: Yes, you can as long as it's in good order. However, we recommend using the POSH racing coils, see our selection in store.

*The RPM limiter has been removed. Please be careful not to damage your engine due to over-revving. *This unit is for racing purposes only. *Always check your bikes year model correctly to ensure this part will be compatible. Imports can at times have the incorrect year of manufacture on the paperwork, if in doubt just ask for details.
